Honeywell T9 adds HomeKit, Targus backpack, Find My, and Nonda vehicle monitor to HomeKit Insider

Honeywell's addition of HomeKit to its T9 thermostat means it has finally fulfilled its promise. Although Honeywell's T5 Lyric thermostat has supported HomeKit for many years, T9 is especially popular because it now brings something to smart homes using Apple systems.
Mainly, the difference between the two models is that the difference in T9 includes support for external sensors. These sensors allow the thermostat to adjust the temperature of your room, not just based on the location of the thermostat.
Next, Ecobee may also be known for its thermostat, but it wants to do more, and as part of it, it announced that it will change the name of its home monitoring system to Ecobee Smart Security. With its Ecobee Haven smart platform, the company's services include professional monitoring and video confirmation, and then emergency services can be dispatched to your home when needed.
In addition, Nuki's new 3.0 Lock has been released, Level Inc announced the acquisition of Dwelo-and Targus has built Find My into its latest backpack to be released in 2022.

Have you tested the Homekit compatibility of Honeywell T9? I have T6, and it is said that it has supported Homekit for several years. My experience is that about 95% of the time, it will show up as "unresponsive" in Homekit while still connected to WiFi and fully accessible through the Honeywell app. I recently gave up and removed it from Homekit so that I don't have to look at the "unresponsive" tiles that keep appearing in the Home app. Try to reconnect it again, but it just didn't find it. Looking at user reviews of the Honeywell app, this does not seem to be an isolated issue. So I can still control the T6 through my iPhone, but it has never been reliably connected to Homekit, so automation or shortcuts involving thermostats or Siri control are feasible.
